Biographical Info:
First elected in 2014, Eric Lucero is presently in his 8th year in the MN House of Representatives serving eastern Wright County and is running for MN Senate this year. Eric’s focus in the Legislature is fighting for truth, the Constitution, free markets, individual liberty, and preserving our great Republic. Eric is chief author of numerous bills related to pro-life, pro-Second Amendment, election integrity, medical freedom and more. Eric's professional background includes nearly 20 years in the information technology and cyber security fields. Eric is owner of a consulting firm assisting organizations of all sizes with information security projects. Eric is also a former seven-year college instructor having taught Computer Security, Computer Forensics, Voice & Data Communications, and other courses. Eric's academic background includes an MBA from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota, Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Forensics and Bachelor of Science in Law Enforcement with Minors in Mathematics and Psychology all from Metropolitan State University, and a Computer Networking Design and Development Degree from NEI College of Technology.
