Biographical Info:
State Senator Warren Limmer has lived in the Northwest suburbs of Hennepin County most of his life. After serving six years in the MN House, he was elected to the State Senate and is presently seeking re-election in the cities of Maple Grove, Greenfield, Corcoran, Hamel, Maple Plain, Loretto, Medina and Independence. Senator Limmer is the current Chairman of the MN Senate Judiciary and Public Safety Committee. He makes his home in Maple Grove with his wife Lori. Warren Limmer is well known for being outspoken in the areas of Public Safety and other socially conservative issues. He has earned the title of "Legislator of the Year" from both the MN Police and Peace Officers Association and MNCASA, the MN Coaliton Against Sexual Assault.
Statement:
I am running to make Minnesota a better place for families and businesses to succeed and prosper. In our state, there is much to do. Despite today's political movements to "Transform America," I have faith that the historic founding principles that has guided our nation can still address the severe issues of our time.
