Biographical Info:
My family has lived in House District 10B for five generations since we settled our small town central Minnesota community building the rural agriculture economy that continues to thrive today. I grew up in a Christ-centered and loving home on our farm near Upsala. I accepted Jesus into my life at four years old and was baptized on the shores of Cedar Lake at Camp Lebanon when I was 18. I grew up attending Community Country Church in Holdingford before graduating from Upsala High School in 2010. Through my church I had the opportunity to go on three mission trips to Ensenda, Mexico, Homer, Alaska, and Panama City, Panama to serve unreached people groups for Christ. These experiences in service to the Kingdom led me to the University of Northwestern St. Paul for my undergraduate degree which I received in Marketing in the Spring of 2013. While I was at Northwestern, I was a Student-Athlete and Campus Leader. I had never intended to be heavily involved in politics, but the opportunity to be in the arena for Christian and Conservative Principles was placed on my heart while at Northwestern and I have continued to follow God's calling in my life ever since. While I was at Northwestern the heavily debated Marriage Amendment was on the ballot in the Fall of 2012. During that time I was both a Student Government Senator and the Chair of the University's Chapter of the College Republicans. I led the effort on my campus to stand up for the Biblical Definition of Marriage and we were the ONLY College or University in Minnesota to adopt a resolution in support of the Biblical Definition of Marriage between one man and one woman. Further, I led several large events and breakout chapels to support Christian and Conservative Values including hosting Michele Bachmann and a Pregnancy Resource Center on campus to bring awareness to our Pro-Life values. Since graduating from college, I have been immersed in Minnesota conservative politics and have worked as staff in both the legislative offices and political campaigns of the following conservative politicians: Paul Gazelka, Stewart Mills, Kurt Daudt, and Pete Stauber in addition to helping more than two dozen legislative campaigns across the state. Today, I serve as the District Director for Congressman Pete Stauber directing his team of 7 here in Minnesota in outreach and constituent services. I am so grateful for the opportunity I have had to be involved politically during the last decade while I have also been able to build and maintain by career in auctioneering. There has been no greater joy for me than the opportunities I have had to help support private Christian schools and Pregnancy Resource Centers reach their fundraising goals as a benefit and fundraising auctioneer. God has richly blessed me with a strong Christian Community that surrounds me wherever I am. Today, I am especially thankful to be engaged to my beautiful fiancé Julia who I met our church - Hope Community Church where we are both members and have been attending for many years. Together, Julia and I look forward to our wedding in early 2023, but most importantly building our marriage with Christ at the center as we seek to continue to serve Him each and every day.
Statement:
The stakes for our state this year are higher than ever — and that’s why I’m running to be our next State Representative. We need a strong conservative voice who will champion our values. My Christian faith and my conservative values have been instilled in me by my family, my church, and my community for my entire life, and I will be the tip of the spear in Saint Paul fighting for the rights of the unborn, defending our religious liberties, standing up for our 2nd Amendment, and protecting our way of life from the radical Socialist-Democrat agenda in Saint Paul.
